And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall. Helaman 5:12
Monday nights are Family Home Evening in Chorley (at the meetinghouse that is on the temple grounds) with the single young adults ages 18-30. We have dinner (which we prepare), take turns teachings the lessons each week, and have a fun activity with treats at the end (which they provide).

Elder Blain kept rolling the number that meant that he had to put on the gloves, hat, and scarf and try to cut up the chocolate squares to eat one tiny square at a time. As soon as someone else gets the right number, they put the clothing on and try to eat chocolate. Notice which hand the fork is in--the American way isn't as efficient as the European way, but he managed to get a lot of chocolate anyway. |

Thursdays are activity night where all we do is show up and have games, puzzles, and recreational equipment set out so there is a variety of things for 60 or more young folks to enjoy as they mingle and have fun with people of their own age from around the area.

Farewell to the dedicated medical couple. They've done a fantastic job with building the new YSA program in this area. It was amazing they could do so much on top of their other heavy responsibilities. |

There are some fun people in the group. The young man on the right walked four hours to get to the activity. The red head said his father drove him two hours from Carlisle to attend. Dedication. |

The pink hat, scarf and white gloves are a great look for Elder Blain. LOL Looks like lots of fun!
