As part of our new assignment to find flats, we went to Wales yesterday. What a wonderful surprise to find more lovely things to see! We go again on Saturday, so I'll be posting my findings in the future. I took most of these while speeding down the motorway, so expect better quality next time there is time to actually go find these places.

| This was seen as we drove past on the motorway on the way into Colwyn Bay. I couldn't get a clean shot in the car going down the road. Intriguing. We shall go back and explore. These are near the real castle, but I think they are called "follies" because the people back then tried to keep up with their neighbors by making it look like they were rich, so they built castle fronts to little homes. Fake trophy homes! People never change, right? Always trying to look prestigious. |
