"The sluggard will not plow by reason of the cold; therefore shall he beg in harvest, and have nothing." Proverbs 20:4
No, just because it snows, we do not stop our missionary work. It was district meeting yesterday and we picked up two other missionaries and drove through what was a very heavy snowstorm in Stoke-on-Trent that cleared as we got on the motorway.
A sign warned us:
". . . caution whilst driving." I love that word "whilst." The roads were not snow packed and we spent the day training in Crewe and arrived back home safely whilst driving on clear roads--not snow packed as expected. The sidewalks ARE snow packed because no one has snow shovels!
